Background
Over the years significant changes have come in the educational system and echoed the need for professional education in emerging sectors, the BSSS also thought for a change in the traditional education system. Having consultations with different stakeholders/students/alumnus/ industrialists, it was envisaged the need to have a professional higher educational institution to impart PG level management education in Bhopal covering Central India with the ambit of All India Council for Technical Education. Accordingly, the concept of a new management Institution in the name of ‘BSSS Institute of Advanced Studies’ has come in reality promoted by The Archdiocese of Bhopal Society and The Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS) Society. It is emphasized that BSSS Institute of Advanced Studies will emerge as a top Professional Management Institution (B-School) in Central India and will play a pivotal role in professional education.
Objectives
Education & Training
- To meet the demand for the trained human resource with managerial & analytical skills in the areas of Business management, and development management through regular educational
- To update the knowledge and managerial skills of the serving professionals in the above areas through short-term Management Development Programmes & Executive Management
Research and Consultancy
- To generate information on field realities and derive meaningful interpretations through systematic research
- To offer consultancy services to the needy client organizations based on the available expertise
Dissemination
To disseminate the research-based information/knowledge to meet the information needs of the Business community and allied sectors through trainings, seminars, and publications.
Databases and Information Systems
To develop an Management Information System, which is compatible with and easily accessible to all levels of users, i.e., from local (community) to global levels.
