The Bhopal School of Social Sciences while attaining its zenith to celebrate its golden years of educational achievements to the populace of the society in the city of lakes, it is right and fitting at this momentous occasion to begin the pioneering institute, the “BSSS Institute of Advanced Studies”, in the campus of Asha Niketan, Arera Colony, under the aegis of the Archdiocese of Bhopal.

I am indeed delighted and hopeful that this Institute of Advanced studies will make great strides in the field of education enabling the students to acquire professional/managerial skills, bring personal transformation, become a positive change agent, in fact the sky is the limit for those who wish to achieve wonderful milestones in their professions and with their family life making a difference.

It is my hope that this great institution will be sustained by leaders who will inculcate a distinct work and team culture that will last longer, involving the institution in the life and development of its local community, region, and the nation as well to transform lives. We need to put together human, technical and financial resources to achieve all of the institution's goals almost without fail.

Focusing on our socio-cultural, economic and multicultural realities, I am sure we need to bring the college to the people to face the challenges in difficult and unpredictable times and discern how we should respond to these challenges.
